DESCRIPTION

The surge in population replacements and influx of refugees, emanating from a wide range of factors, including but not limited to gross Human Rights violations, financial crisis and environmental changes, has underlined the need to focus our efforts in effectively and fairly integrating those populations within the host country’s society in a way that helps different cultures and identities thrive along. “Educating for Peace” seeks to live up to the goal of no lost generation. The goal of the event is to enhance public-private partnership as a mean to ensure that replacement will not hinder one’s right to access education.

HELLENIC ASSOCIATION OF POLITICAL SCIENTISTS (H.A.P.Sc.)

H.A.P.Sc is a non-profit, civil society, Scientific Association. H.A.P.Sc. is an Organisation in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC UN). It always operates in accordance with the principle of democracy. It also operates based on volunteering, will to offer and effort to disseminate and promote Political Science. It adopts all the United Nations principles as outlined in the UN Charter, the European Convention on Human Rights, as well as the rules of humanitarian law in total. It considers the role of a political scientist to be advocate for freedom, democracy, peace, respecting human life, human dignity and the principle of equality, research, growth, environment, culture and free access to natural goods.
